BLACKROCK, China business entities
BlackRock, founded in 1988, is the world’s largest asset management company. Youly was entrusted to provide consulting and agency services for the establishment of a number of subsidiaries in China, including: (1) BlackRock overseas investment fund management company (QDLP), established in 2015; (2) BlackRock fund management company, approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission in August 2020, the first wholly foreign-owned public offering fund company in China; (3) BlackRock & Jianxin financial management company, approved by China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission in August 2020, the second foreign holding financial management company in China.
McDonald’s, restructuring & rename
As the leader of the global retail food service industry, McDonald’s entered the Chinese market in 1990. In 2017, Citic, Citic Capital and Carlyle Investment Group strategically partnered with McDonald’s to acquire a majority stake in McDonald’s China business. In this process, Youly was entrusted to provide consulting and agency services for the equity restructuring of McDonald’s China business (involving 23 provinces and cities across the country). With the completion of the equity restructuring, the name of the main body of McDonald’s business in China (including local subsidiaries and branches) also needed to be adjusted accordingly. Youly carried out consultation and service work at the request of client, providing strong support for its simultaneous launch of the new name nationwide.
Zoetis, restructuring & HQ
Pfizer restructured its business in 2012, spun off its animal health business and established Zoetis independently. The business entities involved in this restructuring are in a number of cities in China and need to apply to various authorities for approval and registration. Youly was entrusted to provide consulting and agency services on equity transfer, name change, and change of senior executives in various places, so as to provide support for the smooth implementation of the business restructuring. Youly also set up a R&D center for Zoetis in Beijing and provided consulting and services for the identification of its Management Regional Headquarters in Shanghai.
Arteco, financial service & maintenance
Arteco is the market leader in the global coolant industry. It is a company specializing in antifreeze research, production and sales, founded in 1998 by two major oil companies, Total and Chevron. Youly provids company change registration, finance and tax consultation, bookkeeping and tax declaration, annual report and other enterprise services for its Shanghai wholly-owned company all the year round.
Uber, China business layout
Uber is the first public travel Internet Company in the world to launch real-time car software. Youly has been entrusted to provide consulting and agency services for Uber’s physical layout in China since 2014. We set up its first and only wholly-owned subsidiary, Wubo, in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone in 2015. After that, we established operating branches for Uber in a number of provinces and cities across the country.
